In Sarah Ruhl’s reimagining, Eurydice takes centre stage. Dying too young on her wedding day, she journeys to the underworld, reunites with her father, and struggles to remember her lost life. Funny, fantastical, and ultimately heartbreaking, this is a story about love, loss, and the impossible business of saying goodbye.

Directed by Ghafir Akbar, the production stars Vinna Law as Eurydice, returning to the Malaysian stage from London, with Jo Kukathas, Anne James and Sukania Venugopal as the deliciously mischievous chorus of the Underworld. Gavin Yap, Terence Swampillai, and Tinesh Janaki Raman round out the cast.

90 minutes. No intermission. Doors open 15 minutes before showtime. Performed in English.
